description
On the first day of this expedition, we’ll travel 100 km deep into the majestic Andes to reach Valle del Arenas, named after the imposing Cerro Arenas. Our adventure begins with an ascent as far as the road allows, followed by a roughly four-hour hike (800 m elevation gain) to the stunning El Morado Hanging Glacier, located at 3,250 meters above sea level. There, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views of the lagoon and the surrounding glaciers. That night, we’ll enjoy a unique stay at the Vitamonti zomes, featuring innovative architecture in an incomparable setting. The next day brings a thrilling rock climbing session with panoramic views of the volcano and surrounding mountain peaks.
