SUNSET IN THE ANDES AND GLACIER HIKE, WITH OVERNIGHT AT VITAMONTI

We’ll travel roughly 100 km into the valleys of the Andes to witness an unforgettable sunset with a front-row view of the 5,800-meter San José Volcano. That night, we’ll stay at Vitamonti’s zomes. The next day, we’ll head into Valle del Arenas (named after Cerro Arenas, the valley’s central peak), drive as far as the road permits, then hike for around four hours to reach the stunning El Morado Hanging Glacier, located at 3,250 meters. There, we’ll marvel at the lagoon and surrounding glaciers in one of the Andes’ most striking alpine landscapes.
