description

Ski touring—or “randonnée”—involves gliding over snow using specialized skis that allow you to ascend by walking and then ski down. It doesn’t require lifts and can be done by anyone who knows how to ski, as long as they have the right gear and guidance. Ski touring means climbing mountains on skis, sharing the experience, admiring the views in their full splendor, and skiing down with an unmatched feeling—ideally on perfect powder. The Andes Mountains offer infinite possibilities. Whether for a single day or a full week, there’s something for every level—from intermediate skiers to world-class athletes. On this trip, we’ll enjoy two full days of mountain skiing, learning the basics of ski touring in the heart of the Andes. At night, we’ll rest in Vitamonti’s zomes—surrounded by incredible peaks and unique architecture.
